I’m not an engineer, so here I will share just a recommendation on how you can assemble Chants, based on how I see it.
I have checked all available moments in the TV show, to see how they mount crutches to knee pads, and found a bit better and easier way to make using the specific mount, but you can also use trapeziform angle brackets as in ‘Jury Duty’.
What do you need to make Chants?
- Professional Knee Pads with a hard shell. Don’t forget to pick a size that will fit your butt chicks.
- Crutches
- 4 pcs Swing Hangers
- Metal plates
- Straps
Building Chants Step-by-Step
Step 1
- Remove anchors from Hangers.
- Drill 4 holes in knee pads to mount the Hangers.
Step 2
Disassemble crutches by unscrewing adjustment bolts.
Step 3
Now it’s time to attach crutches to knee pads. Here you have 2 options based on the crutches tube diameter:
- Mount crutches aside the hanger, which will be less solid.
- Mount crutches inside the hanger, which will be more durable, and will let crutches move smoother.
Step 4
In this step, you need to connect two crutches between each other so that when you will try to sit on them they will not go in different directions. Measure the right distance and connect them with metal plates.
As well, don’t forget to add extra straps, so you can wear Chants without fear of losing them while you walk.
